Chief Benedict Akika, the prestigious Aare Agba’Akin Ataiyese Omoluabi Oodua Agbaye and founder of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation, has extended warm Eid El-Fitr greetings to Muslims across Oyo State and beyond.
In his message made available to 9ja News 24/7, Oloye Akika congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.
He emphasized the importance of the values of peace, love, and unity that the holy month promotes.
“Eid El-Fitr is a time for celebration and togetherness,” said Oloye Akika.
“I pray that the spirit of this festive season brings joy, happiness, and prosperity to all Muslims.”
Oloye Akika who is also the Agbaakin of Olorunda-Abaa and Mayegun of Akoboland also used the occasion to offer prayers for the continued success and development of Oyo State. He specifically prayed for Governor Seyi Makinde, wishing him success in his efforts to lead the state towards greater heights.
“I pray that Almighty God grants Governor Seyi Makinde the wisdom and strength to continue serving the people of Oyo State with dedication and integrity,” said Oloye Akika.
“May Oyo State continue to prosper under his leadership.”
He urged all residents of Oyo State and members of Omituntun Benedict Forum to embrace the spirit of Eid El-Fitr by showing love, kindness, and compassion to one another. He called for peaceful coexistence and harmonious relationships among people of all faiths.
